Eleanor C. Cloud, 76 of Mountain View Landing, Danielson, CT, died March 20, 2013 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Harold Cloud, they were married in 1978, he died in 2000. She was born September 16, 1936 in Putnam, daughter of John F. and Leila (Chenette) Currier, Jr. She was employed for over twenty five years at Rogers Corporation, working in Rogers and Chandler, AZ. Eleanor made her home in the Danielson area most of her life, a former Registrar of Voters for the Town of Killingly and was active for many years in the Jaycees in Danielson. She enjoyed dancing, music, sewing, reading, cooking and trips to the beach. She leaves two sons: James R. Wade of Santa Rosa, CA; Gregory J. Wade of Danielson, stepchildren Christine Cloud of West Hartford; Cindy Cloud Thompson of Lepanto, AR; Brian Cloud and his wife Linda of Mobile, AL; her sister Nancy M. Bow of Danielson; grandchildren Kevin Ohar, Matthew Wade and his wife Tara, Katie Thompson; a great granddaughter Emma Lou Wade, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband Robert W. Wade. Funeral services will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Respiratory Fund, c/o Day Kimball Hospital, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260.
