Obituary of Ethelyn I. Favreau

Ethelyn Favreau November 6, 1920-May 5, 2009 Putnam-Ethelyn I. Favreau, 88, of Ballou Street, Putnam, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of Norman Favreau, he died in 1969. She was the daughter of Charles and Mattie (Skinner) Paul. Ethel worked many years at American Optical retiring in 1983. She shared her love for the Red Sox with her family. She faithfully attended her grandchildren's and great nephews' school and sporting events. A loving mother, grandmother and aunt, she will be greatly missed by her son Michael Favreau and his wife Elizabeth of Pomfret, grandchildren Christopher Favreau and Nicole Favreau of Pomfret; Gabriele Hall of Pomfret, sister-in-law Virginia Favreault of MD; nieces Priscilla Golas of North Carolina, Norma Webster and her husband Butch of Central Village, Patricia Webb of SC, Brenda Seek of MD; a nephew Paul Favreault of MD and a great nephew William Webster of Central Village. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Grove Street Cemetery, Grove Street, Putnam.
