Obituary of Norma E. Butts
Norma "Ma" Butts, 77, of Paine Road, Woodstock, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 with her family at her side at home, after a long illness. She was the wife of Richard Butts, he died in 2000. She was born January 5, 1932 in Putnam, daughter of the late Francis and Berdella (Brownlie) Crabtree.
She was a lifetime farmer beside her husband, she was known as the Roast Beef Lady. She was president of PNA of Dudley, a lifetime member of PACC.
She leaves her children: Donna Corriveau of NY; Mav Butts of Woodstock, Chris Butts of Dayville; Leo Butts of Grand Isle, VT; Tara Lamontagne of Woodstock; Pam Adamuska of Thompson; Wendy Racine of Quinebaug; Cory Butts of Grand Isle, VT; Tracy Butts of Woodstock; Karen Costa of Hadley, MA; Crystal Greene of Dayville, Jonathan Butts of Woodstock, a brother Francis Crabtree of AZ, 45 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her sons Gary Butts, Brian Butts, Robert Butts and brother Walter Crabtree.
