Obituary of Mark A. Daigneault
Dayville-Mark A. Daigneault, 51, of Dayville, CT, died with his family and his friends at his side, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. He was the beloved husband of Judy (Flynn) Daigneault; they were married June 4, 1983 in South Burlington, VT. He was born April 15, 1958 in Burlington, VT, son of Gerald and Denise (Morin) Daigneault of Tallahassee, FL.
He had made his home in Dayville for the last 24 years, formerly of South Burlington, VT, a 1976 graduate of South Burlington High School and had attended Central Connecticut State University. He had been employed at Lowe's Distribution Center for the last four years and worked as a sales rep for Graham Medical, Hermitage Medical Supplies and Service Office Supplies in Tallahassee. He was an avid golfer and achieved two hole-in- ones, one at Quinnatisset and one at Putnam Country Club, he was a baseball umpire, and an avid sports fan. His memberships include Danielson Elks and Knights of Columbus. Mark was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Dayville. He was a devoted father, son and brother. He was known as Uncle BUBBA to his nieces and nephews.
He leaves in addition to his wife Judy and his mom and dad, his three children, Andrew M. Daigneault, Danielle M. Daigneault, Katie I. Daigneault, all of Dayville, two sisters, Mary Crane of Bridgewater, MA, Carol Hodges of Tallahassee, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St, Danielson on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 9:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 350 Hartford Pike, Dayville, CT 06241. Calling Hours will be Monday, June 1, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson.
