Obituary of Mildred Reynolds

Mildred C. Reynolds, “Millie”, 90, of Thompson, CT, passed away after a brief illness Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. Millie was born April 20, 1922 in Oxford, MA, to Arthur and Fannie (Miller) Cunningham. She lived in Thompson for most of her life. Millie married Robert Reynolds on June 6, 1942. Together, they operated their dairy farm in Thompson. They traveled extensively in their retirement. Bod predeceased her in 2003. Millie loved her family, her church, her friends, her garden, and quilting. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her. Millie is survived by her son, Ted Reynolds of Thompson; her daughter: Donna and her husband Brian Lynch of Thompson, CT; her grandson Sean Lynch and Ashley LaBrecque of Griswold; her granddaughter, Alissa Lynch of Boston, MA; several nieces, nephews and many good friends.. Calling Hours will be Friday 4:30 to 7:30 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral home, 148 grove Street, Putnam, CT. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 16, 2013 at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 83 Main Street, North Grosvenordale, CT. In lieu of flowers, the family request that a donation in Millie’s memory to Day Kimball Hospital, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260.
