My deepest sympathy to the Avery family. I didn't get to know your mom very well but the amount of time that I did speak to her or see her she was a very sweet lady. I will be miss her like I'm sure everyone else will.
Sincerely, Deb Nielsen (The Scranton's Shops, Woodstock CT)

My sincere and deepest sympathy to Russ, Douglas and all of their families. I deeply regret that I didn't get to say goodbye to Clara and also that I hadn't seen her for so many years. I think we would have had a lot to talk about, especially concerning politics - one of my favorite subjects! As a child growing up - Clara being 10 years older than me -I really idolized her and admired her very much. It was such an honor when I was only 15 and she asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. Why is it that families drift apart when life is so short and we should all find time in our busy lives to stay in contact!

Clara Avery was such a fine person. She was always well-mannered, quick to laugh and happy with her life. She was very proud of her sons and gave generously of her time and many talents to area organizations. I remember her long, long ago at Mrs. Covell's home when she worked on various town committees. She led a productive life. She will be missed.
Sincerely, Nancy
