Paul & Ruth Robins posted a condolence
We got to know Chloe and Bob, and come to love them, while spending the Winter Months with them, in Needles, California, from 1996 through 2002.
A Special Couple, we came to find we had several things in common. Bob and Ruth's birthdays were the same day, February 10th. In addition, Chloe and Bob were married, the same year,1952, as we were, the same month, May, and only three days after we were on May 24th.
Before leaving Needles, for the last time, in 2002, we enjoyed a 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Party , with Bob and Chloe , and two other of our Needles Friends, Ken and Mary Lou Briggs, also their 50th Anniversary. It was one of many Great Times, spent together.
No longer able to travel,
Chloe and Bob visited us here, in Canada, several times, during the Summer Months, most recently last August. We were greatly anticipating seeing them again, this August.
They were Special People, who will be greatly missed.
Rest Well, Chloe and Bob, you richly deserve The Greater Glory to Which have gone.
Love, Always,
Ruth and Paul Robins,
Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada.

Bob and Chloe and us were friends for years. I followed in her footsteps as the DON at BCH. In the summers we enjoyed many a camping excursion with them. They introduced us to Coles Creek in Massena. Nancy Brown Hilbrecht posted a condolence
Dear Rob, Steve, Becky, Susan, David & Melissa,
There are no word's to help you with this loss. But, memories and knowledge can help heal with time. Know you were deeply loved by your parents. I remember babysitting for you when David suddenly up chucked and your Dad had to go lie down! Probably not as bad as the time your Mom had to come home from work to clean -up after one of you kids! Also remember you all being at the creek with Flossie & Don, your Dad fishing and your Mom watching all you kids running around. Your folk's were good people.
Wishing you peace and grace in knowing of being so loved by your parents, and that they were cared about by so many people.
