Obituary of Deborah A. Slye
Deborah A. (Wetherbee) Slye, 60, of Thompson CT passed away September 18th surrounded by her loving family. Debbie loved life to the fullest and was an avid painter. She enjoyed doing various crafts and baking beautiful cakes for the people she loved. She will always be remembered for putting a smile on everyone's face. Her ability to touch peoples lives was above all. Debbie worked at Commerce Insurance for 25 years and treasured her job and the friends she made throughout the years.
She leaves behind her loving husband and friend Thomas Slye Jr., her beloved children Kimberly (Mann) Hachey and Robert Mann and his wife Laura. all from Thompson CT. Her adored granddaughters, Angela Hachey and Savannah-Jean Mann. She also leaves her parents Kenneth and Dorothy Wetherbee of Thompson CT, her sister Beverly (Wetherbee) Walker of Miramar, FL, her sister Donna Wetherbee passed away in 2008. She also leaves her two nephews Christopher Stelmach and Daniel Stelmach and her sister/niece Jennipher Wetherbee. She loved them all very much.
Calling hours will be held October 2nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Donations may be made in her name to the Susan B. Koman Foundation, PO Box 650309
