Ryan-
I have to say your dad's service on Friday night was the first true "celebration of life" I have been to. It was heartwarming to hear all those funny stories about your dad. Even though I have never met him, it is clear to me he must have been a good man because of the confident, capable, sensitive adult you turned out to be.
I hope you find the strength & love from your extended family & friends to get you through this.
You did good kiddo !

I really don't even know how to begin. From the day we met he has a laugh. Doreen sent him to our yard because she seen little Heather in a RI t-shirt (we were in FLA) I was painting our mailbox because it HAD to be brown (love those HOA's). His opening line to me. "You're doing a great job, you wanna come do mine when your done?" Then he laughed that BIG laugh and we have been BEST friends ever since. We did everything together, family vacations, birthdays, 4th of july, (blocking the whole street) with illegal fireworks of course!! He and Doreen are my daughters god parents. The list goes on and on. My memories are MANY and all fantastic, fun and full of laughs, that is of course when I wasn't busting his chops and making his blood boil when I picked on him for believing everything Neil Rogers (a talk radio host in FLA) said, as far as Ralphie was concerned it should have been carved in stone. He was a GREAT man and he will be GREATLY MISSED by everyone in my family. Including my puppies, he was their FAVORITE puppy sitter. REST IN PEACE sweet RALPHIE. There will never be another like you!! Til we meet again. You will be in our thoughts forever!!!!!!!

About five years ago, before I really knew Ralph, he appeared at our office wearing a Halloween mask that made it look like he head spiked hair. It was hilarious. I like it so much that I immediately went looking for one for me. (No luck.) Ralph was a great guy who loved life. We will miss him.

"Uncle Ralph", as I knew him always brought a smile to the face of everyone around him. He was there with a hug and a kiss on the moment he saw you. Uncle Ralph was a wonderful person who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. My thoughts are with him and his family in this difficult time.

Ralph was a good man and a good friend. He loved to have fun. I remember my first (and only) Star Trek convention. Ralph was more excited then I was. I was about 10 or eleven he was 34. Good bye old friend you will be missed but my memories of you will keep you close.
P.S.
I will buy a jar of Hiff Peanut Butter (his favorite back then) and enjopy it thinking of you.
SIncerely
