Obituary of Carl R. Kaczor

Carl R. Kaczor, 72, of Morin Avenue, Danielson, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Lucille (Dumaine) Kaczor, they were married July 25, 1964. He was born December 23, 1936 in Killingly, son of Mary (Poprawa) Kaczor and the late John Kaczor. Carl was employed at Rogers Corporation for 38 years, retiring in 1999. Carl spent his summers swimming and boating on Alexander's lake. An exercise enthusiast, he was often seen riding his bike, running, and walking throughout the Killingly area. During the winter he enjoyed watching the UCONN Women's and Men's Basketball. He was a communicant of St. James Church. In addition to his mother Mary and wife Lucille he leaves his children: Kristine Kaczor and her husband Steven Luby of Brookline, MA; Karla Schultz and her husband Bill of Broad Brook; Kirk Kaczor and his wife Nila of Niantic; a sister: Dorothy Hebert of Rogers; and grandchildren: Josie, Nina, Max, Sydney, Kasey and Karch. He was predeceased by brothers John "Yosh" Kaczor and Edward Kaczor. A Memorial Mass will be Friday, November 13, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson.
