Mrs Brandt was a wonderful woman who loved her dog Angus(RIP) and then Beau. She always brought a smile to my face when bringing her dog in to the Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital. Rest in Peace.

Glen, Renee, Ben, and Rachel Holden posted a condolence
We have two very special memories to share.
Four years ago this coming fall, our daughter Rachel was begining kindergarten at Pomfret Community School. She was in the afternoon class and before bringing her to school we went outside to take a picture. What we didn't realize is that we locked ourselves out of the house. Stuck outside I was unable to bring Rachel to her very first day of school ever. Then Rachel and I looked across the pond with hope when we thought about Lois. Rachel and I walked over and thankfully Lois was home. Lois immediately grabbed her things and off we rode with Lois and Agnes. Lois was so happy to be a part of this excitment and so happy to be able to bring Rachel to school. Going to school on that first special day with Lois was meant to be that way. I was also fortunate to have spent that afternoon with Lois until Glen came home.
Last year our son, Ben, didn't have a grandparent on grandparent's day at PCS. Once again Lois came to the rescue and was Ben's grandparent that day. Ben felt so happy and proud to have Lois be his grandparent because he loved her. He truly thought she was the nicest neighbor in the world and even wrote about her in a first grade assignment. We all felt a special love and connection to Lois in our family. We miss her and will continue to miss her. She was very kind to us and did many thoughtful things for us in the time we knew her.

John: So sorry to hear about Lois. I only saw Lois maybe once or twice a year but it was always nice seeing her. She always had such a nice smile on her face and a kind word. She never complained. We graduated together in 1960 and she always liked to reminisce about everyone in the class. She always reminded me what reunion we would be celebrating. Can you believe it's 50!! I always told everyone she was the nicest girl in our class. I will keep you both in my thoughts & prayers and miss seeing her.

What an incredible angel Lois will be. The heavens are fortunate today to have her . But my heart breaks.
Lois was such an upbeat, happy person that being around her always made me feel inspired. I loved all her beautiful handmade rugs, and seeing her projects from start to finish. I loved her attitude. When she wasn't feeling well, she would always say that "tomorrow will be better". I will miss her .
