Obituary of Dorothy Renaud

Dorothy Renaud, 83, of South Main Street, Brooklyn, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Lanessa Extended Care, in Webster, MA. She was the beloved sister of Marguerite St. Jean and Robert Richard Renaud. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Rose (Gosselin) Renaud, her father Leon Omer Renaud, nine brothers and four sisters. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She was born September 1, 1926 in Brooklyn, CT. She worked at Arrow-Hart in Brooklyn for about 32 years until it closed, then she was employed at Garrity Flashlight Company until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. James Church and a graduate of the St. James School. She enjoyed reading a variety of books from mysteries, cookbooks, biographies and garden books. She was an accomplished flower gardener. She is survived by a brother Robert Renaud and his wife Linda of Brooklyn, CT, a sister Marguerite St. Jean of Brooklyn, CT and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be Thursday, June 17th at 11:00 AM from Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. James Church, 12 Franklin St. Danielson.
