Mary Rose (Couture) Langway December 12, 1918 - May 4, 2013 Mary Rose Langway, 94, of 111 Maple Court, Danielson, died Saturday at Westview Nursing Home in Dayville. She was the wife of the late Edgar O. Langway, who died September 30, 1995. They were married September 3, 1938 at St. Rock Church in Oxford, MA. She was born in East Hampton, MA, December 12, 1918, a daughter of the late Adelard and Melandan (Frechette) Couture. She was a cook at the Dragon Hotel in Moosup. Later she went to work at Danielson Curtain. Her husband and she did some traveling in the early years. She loved her family very much, she will be deeply missed. She was a communicant of St. James Church in Danielson. She is survived by three sons and wives, Edgar and Linda of Danielson, Bernard and Carol of Dayville, Leonard and Vernica of North Oxford, MA, one sister Pomella Bouthillier, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Denise Ratelle and by four brothers and three sisters. A Calling Hour will be Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT 06239.
