Obituary of Everett C. Hadley, Jr.

Sterling - Everett C. Hadley, Jr., 78, of Sterling died March 5, 2011 at Regency Heights in Danielson. Everett is survived by his sister Ruth Wolfe of East Lyme. He leaves his children Everett F. Hadley of Brooklyn, Aaron C. Hadley of California, James Nigh of Canterbury, Jennifer Ramsey of Arizona, Debbie Gordon of Rhode Island, and thirteen grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Penny Brayman of Rhode Island. He was born in Rhode Island, son of the late Everett and Edith (Nelson) Hadley. He was drafted in the US Army during the Korean War and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts. He resided in Sterling where he owned and operated Hadleys Garage. Throughout his life he learned to speak several languages, enjoyed traveling, saltwater fishing and riding his motorcycle.
