Obituary of Kim M. Lewis

Kim M. Lewis, 52, of Cornfield Point, Woodstock, died peacefully at home Friday, March 18, 2011. Daughter of Mary (Smith) Lewis, of Rhode Island and the late George F. Lewis, Sr., She was born June 18, 1958 in Putnam.

Kim worked for Small Business Insurance in Worcester for the last ten years and had previously worked for Commerce Insurance in Webster. She was a member of the Putnam Baptist Church. Kim's son Derek was her life; she was a devoted, caring, and loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Kim leaves in addition to her son Derek Lewis of Woodstock, her brother George Lewis and his wife Cherrie of Hampton, brother-in-law Normand Perron of Putnam, nephews Nick Perron, Tyler Lewis, Ryan Lewis, nieces Tara Belleville and her husband Scott, Katie Lewis and a close friend Joyce Gardner of New London. She was predeceased by her sister Bonnie Perron, January 14, 2004.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Putnam Baptist Church, 170 Church Street, Putnam, burial following in Putnam Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Ctr, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3045.
