My Mother: Part of my being a "knit-wit". I asked her to sharpen two pencils for me when I was 5 and Charlotte gave me some yarn...lots of holes narrow and large rather crooked; been a "knit wit" ever since with REAL needles! Not enough words to describe what a wonderful person she was! She taught me to can veggies at 10; how to clean house; and all the challenges of becoming a decent young woman..Thank you Mother. I made her laugh and she laughed when I spoke polish...didn't exactly come out the right way all the time, but we had fun! I will miss you deeply and hold you very close within my heart. Now you are in a safe place with Wally, oh God another soul to keep me on the straight an narrow! I love you Mother, you are with the blessed Mother you thought so much of and Jesus as well.
