Obituary of Joseph F. Lombardi

Woodstock-Joseph F. Lombardi, 74, of Woodstock, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at home with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Jean (Shaughnessy) Lombardi they were married July 20, 1957. He was born June 4, 1936 in Newton, MA, son of the late Alberta (McGovern) Lombardi. He worked as a chef for Faulkner Hospital in Boston, MA and Holiday Inn. He served his country in the USMC Air Sea Rescue. He was a very loving, caring and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Joseph was an avid collector of Wallace Nuttings. He had many many wonderful friends. Besides his wife Jean he leaves his children; Corina J. Konowitz and her husband Craig of Franklin, MA, Victor J. Lombardi and his wife Melissa of Bellingham, MA, Christina M. Bissanti and her husband Andrew of Franklin, MA, Vincent J. Lombardi and his wife Julie of Blackstone, MA and Daniel J. Lombardi of Woodstock, siblings; Lawrence Lombardi of FL, Joanne Parker of FL, Norma Lombardi of FL and Mary Lombardi of MA, grandchildren; Francesca, Amanda, Hollie, Joseph, Vanessa, Andrew, Jacob, Serena, Adrianna, Maya, many nieces, nephews and a lifetime friend Bill W. Calling hours will be Saturday April 30, 2011 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT, with a Memorial Service at 5:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
