Obituary of Sela C. Green

Sela C. Green, 98 of Abington, CT, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late Albert "Red" Floyd Green, he died in 1995. She was born July 16, 1912 in West Ashford, CT, daughter of Eugene and Dora McDaniels. She was a life member of the Wolf Den Grange and was active for many years, and a member of the Abington Guild and the Abington Congregational Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed working in her gardens and caring for animals. Sela leaves two daughters, Janice Smith and her husband Ronald of Pittsfield, MA; Sandra Molnar and her husband John of Guilford, CT; grandchildren: Steven Smith and his wife Regina of Pittsfield, MA; Jeffrey Smith and his wife Laura of Cambridge, MA; Matthew Green Molnar and his wife Tracie of Uncasville; Daniel Green Molnar of North Branford, CT; Jonathan Green Molnar and his wife Karina of North Branford, CT; great grandchildren: Tyler Smith; Zoe Molnar; Benjamin Molnar, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Norma Louise Green in 1937. Private Graveside services were held In Grove Cemetery, Eastford.
