Obituary of Nancy G. Walker
Nancy G. (Cutler) Walker, 55 of East Killingly, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 15, 2011 surrounded by her family, after a long battle with MS. She is the beloved wife of Richard F. Walker for 33 years, mother of Abram Walker and his wife Nicole of E. Putnam, Luke Walker and his wife Jen of Killingly, Victoria Walker of Columbia, grandmother of Colin, Jayden, Logan, Talan and another grandchild on the way. She was predeceased by two brothers Rick and Gerry Cutler. Nancy was born in Putnam on April 20, 1956, daughter of Donald Cutler of Kingfield, Maine and the late Ann Milhomme.
Nancy loved God, her family, friends, her pets and riding her horses. She resided with her husband in E. Killingly for the last twenty five years. She loved her plants and flowers, made quilts and liked to crochet. She worked for weight watchers in Putnam, Brooklyn & Webster for many years and was very active in the church. She used her many gifts in ministering for the Lord and her life was an inspiration to all who met her. The family would like to thank everyone who lovingly helped care for her over the years.
There will be a celebration of Nancy's life on Tuesday, June 21st at 11:00 AM in the East Putnam Community Church, 250 East Putnam Road, East Putnam. Burial will follow in Munyan Cemetery, Putnam and a reception at the church. Calling hours Monday June 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam.
