Obituary of Robert Anderson

Robert Anderson, 72, of Letters Street, Putnam, CT, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

He was the beloved husband of 49 years of Alaine (Cardin) Anderson. He was born August 30, 1938 in Worcester, son of the late Yelma and Helen (Rutkowski) Anderson.

Robert worked for over 35 years as a Transport Driver for the Nissen Baking Company in Worcester. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping, cooking, cars and motorcycles. Robert was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 170, Worcester.

He leaves in addition to his wife Alaine, four children: Michael Anderson and his wife Jacqueline of Thompson, CT; Steven

Anderson and his wife Lisa of Brooklyn, CT; Michele Anderson of Worcester, MA and Kenneth Anderson of Putnam, CT; grandchildren: Ashley Anderson and Spencer Anderson; and his dog, Suzie. He was predeceased by a sister, Elaine LaPrade.
