Obituary of Joseph A. G. Hubert

Joseph A. G. Hubert, Buck, 82, of Danielson died Friday, July 22, 2011 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (Raymond) Hubert, she died April 5, 2002. He was born on January 26, 1929 in Killingly, son of the late Emile and Marie Anne (Thiebault) Hubert. Joseph lived in Killingly all his life. He was a Communicant of St. James Church. Buck was a member of the Elks for over 30 years. Joseph was a Veteran of the Korean War serving with the U. S. Army. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Uconn Huskies Men and Womens Basketball Teams. Buck was an avid golfer, loved to go on Cruises to the Caribbean with his wife. Joseph was a builder with his brother and son for over 40 years. Joseph is survived by his two children, Richard Hubert and his wife Robin of Danielson and Joanne Budzinsky and her husband William of Brooklyn, grandchildren, Amie Thompson and her husband Greg of Woodstock, Joelle Budzinsky of Tulsa, OK, Sarah Hubert of Danielson, great granddaughter and the apple of his eye Lily Hubert, a sister Lucille LaFlame of Danielson. He was predeceased by siblings Beatrice LeQuere, Rita Chenard and William Hubert. A Calling Hour will be Tuesday, July 26, 2011 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Josephs name to Hospice of Northeast Connecticut, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260.
