Obituary of Edward Scott Hamer

Edward Scott Hamer, 44, of Ashford, died unexpectedly at home on July 21, 2011. He was born on July 11, 1967, the son of the late Edward Hamer, Jr, of Danielson, and Jean B. and Norval Smith of Coventry. Ted graduated from E.O. Smith High School in 1985. He was the President of Hamertime Productions. He leaves behind his beloved sisters and brother-in-law; Laurie Hamer, of Danielson, Tracy Hamer Will and Blake Will, of Ashford, and Holly Hamer, of Danielson. He also leaves three nephews and a niece, whom he adored; Dylan Lakotta, of Manchester; his godson Ryan Will of Ashford, Cody Will, of Ashford; and Camryn Sheehan, of Harvest, Alabama. He leaves three stepbrothers; Daryl and his wife Cindy, Gary and Wesley Smith. Ed also leaves his beloved dog, Buddy, and many loving friends. A Memorial Service will be held at The Congregational Church of Eastford, 8 Church Rd., Eastford, CT, on Saturday, August 6th, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Congregational Church of Eastford 8 Church Road PO Box 177, CT 06242 or the charity of one's choice.
