I'm the oldest son of Andrew and Bernice (Marchesseault) Doiron. I don't believe I ever met Gerald, but I remember Mom telling me how much Aunt Antonia and Uncle Dan met to her and Jeannette during the terrible time after their mom died. I want to express my family's condolences at Gerald's passing. He certainly lived a filled and fulfilling life. Thanks to the obit, I just read the fascinating story of "Operation Ivory Soap."
