Anna H. Anger, 94 of Danielson, died Saturday at the Regency Heights of Danielson. She was the wife of the late Emile Anger, they were married September 4, 1937, he died March 28, 1996. She was born January 17, 1917 in Grafton, MA, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Bigda) Poprawa. Anna's favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles, reading and crocheting. She enjoyed visiting with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox. She leaves two sons, Richard Anger and his wife Vi of Danielson; Robert Anger and his wife Shirley of Brooklyn; two granddaughters Karen Westervelt of Elizabethtown, PA ; Barbara Kane and her husband John of Kingston, UK; her great grandchildren Kristen, Matthew, Patrick, Anna, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Anger who died at five months old, her siblings John, Frank, Agnes, Stephanie, Helen and Edna, and a grandson Scott Anger. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, followed by an 11:30 Chapel Service at Holy Cross Cemetery, Maple Street, Danielson.
