Obituary of Phyllis E. Willett

Phyllis E. Willett, age 77, of Quinebaug Road, Quinebaug, CT, died unexpectedly Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. She was born January 12, 1934 in Webster, MA, daughter of Frank and Jessie (Hefler) Peterson. She worked as a Receptionist and Switchboard operator at the former Hale Manufacturing company in Putnam for over 15 years. She has made her home in Quinebaug for over 35 years. She enjoyed knitting, and received several 1st Place ribbons at the Woodstock Fair for her work. She had a great love for her grandchildren. She leaves her daughter: Stacey Hubert of Moosup; a brother: Wallace Peterson of Danielson; a sister: Ann Bayer of N. Grosvenordale; her grandchildren Christopher Lajoie , Ashleigh Hubert; Jordan Hubert; Samantha Hubert. She was predeceased by a brother William Peterson and a sister Barbara Hasenberg. A Graveside Service will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the East Thompson Cemetery, East Thompson, CT.
