Obituary of Robert H. Morse

Robert Morse, 61 of Westview Drive, Brooklyn died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was born August 26, 1950 in Webster, MA to the late Henry and Sadie (Kokoszka) Morse and grew up in Dudley, MA. Bob took great pride in his yard work, and spent many happy hours in his garden. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking and loved spending time with his granddaughter, Rowan. He worked as the highway superintendent for the City of Groton for 18 years, and later worked for Geisser Engineering Corporation as a land surveyor. He leaves his wife Jane (Bennard) of Brooklyn, his three sons; Christopher Morse and his wife Stephanie Moreau of Plainfield, Patrick Morse of Avon, and Matthew Morse of Brooklyn and a granddaughter Rowan Morse. There will be a calling hour on Tuesday January 24, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home 33 Reynolds Street Danielson, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 am. Burial at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson. Donations may be made in his memory to The American Heart Association, PO Box 5022 Wallingford, CT 06492.
