My deepest sympathy to Ms. Beaulieu's family. I was honored to have her for a teacher and will always remember her trying to teach us "French" every day! She never gave up on anyone!! RIP.

So sad to hear of Ms. Beaulieu's passing. She was one of most favorite teachers. I was in her fourth grade class in 1969 at Polk School, Watertown. She was a truly unique woman. I will not forget her. Deb Collins Brisebois

I have never had another teacher with the level of passion for teaching that Ms. Beaulieu had. She was fantastic, and yes she will forever be my favorite teacher. She swept you up into a new culture just by putting on a hat - Sombrero, off to Mexico, a traditional rice paddy sun shade hat and we were off to the orient, and she had been there - so when she taught you it was authentic, real, not just from the book. She told you how it smelled, how the food tasted, what the people were really like, so much more than the paragraph or two from our Social Studies book. She taught us how to use chopsticks and play the castinets. She gave me a life long desire to learn about other cultures, to be interested in the world, she made me want to learn. She was the best! She has always been the standard by which I gauge all other teachers. She has always been number one on the list. I now work in a school system and she still is number one on my list. She was a remarkable teacher and I was lucky to be her student!

I had Ms. Beaulieu for a teacher at Polk School for fourth grade and fifth for Social Studies. She was awesome!!! She shared many stories of her travels and taught us about other cultures. She used to bring in scarves and have us dance and express ourselves through dancing. She was quite a lady!!! God Bless.

Our family would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Noella's family. My 4 children had her as a teacher at The Polk School in Oakville. I was very involved with the school at the time, and got to know Noella very well. Wish we could have more teachers like her, but the mold is broken with her passing. She was warm, compassionate, and very knowledgeable of different places that she had visited. She will be missed.

Miss Beaulieu was my 4th grade teacher in the early 1960's. She made a lasting impression on me with the way she shared her love of Indonesia and all things connected with it.I can still see some of the pictures she shared in my mind and that was over 45 years ago!!!
She was a dedicated teacher and I am glad my siblings and I were blessed with her teaching at the old Polk School in Oakville.

My memories of Ms. Beaulieu are vivid and lasting. She was my teacher at Polk School and was the most caring and influential teacher there. She was kind. Her love of all countries/cultures oozed and made her students less close minded and curios and accepting of those deemed "different". My prayers to her family. I can only wish I can make a quarter of the inpact on others that she made in my life.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Miss Beaulieu. She was the most influential teacher I have had in my career. Her demand for academic excellence in 1962 still influence me today as an engineer.

To my dear Aunt Noella,
I'm so sorry to just find out of your passing. Even though we haven't talked in years, I have thought of your often. Your sister, my Mother Germaine Beaulieu left us way to soon and I wish you two had stayed in touch. I will always remember you. Your niece Todd
