I believe it was Harold who was suppose to "oversee" the the flaming arrow trick at camp one year, the arrow was suppose to slide down a string into a brush pile igniting it. However as fate would have it, it didn't work. Harold went over to light it manually, forgetting how much gasoline he had put on the pile, damn near charcoal broiled himself, the rest is history...

I only knew him from church, but "Grandpa" Harold is already missed at our Sunday services. We know he is in a better place and free from pain. My prayers are with the family and friends of this sweet man who was always smiling.

I have so many fond memories from childhood to adult. I had the Honor of working with him at Lisbon textile and playing pool with him and my father. He was with us during our time of need when my mom passed away and in 2010 when my brother passed away.
I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed but never forgotten...Many Prayers are being sent.
Lots of love to him and his family.....

What Makes a Dad
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,And so,
He called it ... Dad

You were all these thing to me Dad and so much more! You have left a legacy of love to me that I will always hold dear in my heart. You have ALWAYS been there for me and I shall never ever forget you. Till we meet again Dad....Your daughter, Angela
