Obituary of Wayne Robert Catlin

Wayne "Tata" Catlin, 61 of Woodward Road, Brooklyn, CT, died unexpectedly Monday at the UMASS Medical in Worcester, MA. He was the beloved husband of Charlene (Malone) Catlin. He was born September 24, 1950 in Putnam, son of the late Clifford and Mildred (French) Catlin. He was a payloader operator for Jolley Concrete in Danielson for twenty five years. He enjoyed fishing and ice fishing, clamming and working on cars. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the US Army. He was honorably discharged July 1971. He was a kind and very strong man, until his passing, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He leaves his wife Charlene, his daughters, Melissa Delaney and her husband William of Moosup; Amanda Catlin of Moosup; his brother Clifford Catlin of Danielson, his beloved grandchildren Kayla, Marcus, Evan, Conner, Madison, Emma, his special nephew Jay Greene of Dayville; and his dog Shelby. He was predeceased by his sister Helen Greene. Calling Hours will be Saturday April 21, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, with a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
