I have fond memories of visiting Ruth and her family in Eastford with my dad. She was always welcoming and had a kind and gentle spirit that came through to me as a child. We had a special connection in that we shared the same birthday. David and I were in the same kindergarten class and I enjoyed visiting with him as well when he was home. My deepest sympathy to the family.
