Obituary of Ruby E. Rzeznikiewicz
Ruby E. Rzeznikiewicz, 91, of Brooklyn, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam after a brief illness surrounded with her family's love. She was the beloved wife of Henry Rzeznikiewicz, they were married in July 14, 1945, he died in 2008. She was born April 5, 1921 in Putnam, daughter of Henry and Frances (Whitehouse) Creapo.
Ruby made her home in Brooklyn for over 60 years, was a communicant of Our Lady of LaSalette Church and helped with many church dinners and socials. She worked at Racine Printing in Brooklyn from 1966 to 1978 and previously at Arrowhart for several years. She spent her youth in Woodstock and was a 1939 graduate of Woodstock Academy. Ruby was a league bowler for several years. Her greatest love was caring for and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She leaves two children, Alan Rzeznikiewicz and his wife Nancy of Gosnell, AR, Linda Parsons and her husband Bruce of Brooklyn, grandchildren, Kelly Allen, Lori Smith, Bryan Parsons, Kendall and Devin Hughes, Savannah and Stevie Rzeznikiewicz, great grandchildren Zachary, Ty, and Cody Smith, Braeden and Logan Allen and many close and special friends. She will be remembered and missed by all those who loved her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of LaSalette Church, 25 Providence Road, Brooklyn, CT, followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Danielson.
