Jeanne Thompson Currier, 76, of Putnam died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Oakwood Rehab and Nursing Center in Webster, MA. Beloved wife of Cecil Currier, Jr. Jeanne was born in Thompson on December 22, 1935, daughter of the late Alcide and Adrienne (Lussier) Demers.
She is survived by her husband Cecile, daughter, Jean K. Thompson, two sons, Gerry Thompson, Mark Thompson, a step-son Cecil Currier III, a granddaughter and two great grandchildren. Jeanne was predeceased by her first husband Gerald F. Thompson and a son David Thompson.
Funeral Services will be Monday, June 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Grosvenordale. Calling Hours will be Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Resident Council Fund C/O The Oakwood Rehab and Nursing Center, 11 Pontiac Ave. Webster, MA 01570.
