Obituary of Judy Pedersen

North Grosvenordale- Judy Pedersen, 63, of Juliette Avenue, died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late George Pedersen, they were married October 17, 1964, he died September 18, 2010. She was born October 4, 1948 in Plymouth, MA, daughter of the late Raymond Ballou and late Bertha Ballou Waters. She made her home in Thompson all her life, she worked as a teachers aide for the Thompson School system for over 15 years. Judy was blessed with a great sense of humor, could make friends and carry on a conversation with anyone she met. Judy enjoyed caring for and working in her flower gardens. She loved to listen to & collect Elvis memorabilia. Judy is survived by her daughters: Kristine Blanchard of North Grosvenordale, Melissa Harmon and her husband Shawn of Putnam, son: Erin Pedersen of North Grosvenordale, three brothers Ronald Ballou and his wife Lucille of Chepachet, RI, Dennis Waters and his wife Kathy of Glocester, RI; Michael Waters of Ballouville, CT, grandchildren: Samantha, Brandon, Matthew, Chandler, Austin and Avery, two great grandchildren: Sage and Christian, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Judy was predeceased by her son, Eric Pedersen, and step-father Conrad Waters. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. Calling hours will be Friday, July 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Munyan Cemetery, Munyan Road, Putnam, CT.
