Obituary of Sheila M. Kennett

Sheila M. Kennett, 58, of Putnam, CT, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. She was born February 16, 1957, in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late James and Marvis (Vayo) Troy. She worked as a medical secretary at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Providence House of Worcester for a combined 32 years. Sheila married Bryan Kennett on September 12, 1998. She enjoyed traveling, spending time in her home, swimming in her pool, planting her garden and entertaining her beloved family and friends. She gave all of her time and energy towards the happiness and well-being of others, while always putting her needs last. Sheila was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She leaves behind her husband Bryan P. Kennett of Putnam, CT, two sons Michael P. Shea of Maryville, TN, Zachary C. Kennett of Putnam, CT; grandchildren Lacey, Alia and Aiden Shea of Maryville, TN; siblings Cheryl Curll of Worcester, MA and the late Kevin and Michael Troy of Worcester, MA; nieces and nephews Lynn Gervais and her husband Peter, Mathew and Michael Curll, Joseph and Daniel Forand of Worcester, MA, Megan, Hailey and Layla Kennett of Eastern, CT; grandnieces Lucy and Chloe, grandnephew Jamye, Mother-in-law Carol Kennett, sister-in-Law Robin and her husband Daniel Noren and brother-in-law Jason Kennett of Eastern, CT; her best friends Kelly Mariano of Leicester, MA and Serena Skaw of Thompson, CT. Calling hours will be Monday, July 6, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. Graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 am in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton, MA.
