To Betty and all the family - Joe was a good friend for many years and we shared many a laugh and always an interesting discussion about Eastford history. Our Monday nights will not be the same, he will be missed.
Betty, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. I will never forget the box of chocolates Joe gave us girls at the bank, it was a good prank and we had many laughs over it. I miss his laugh.
Though I only new Joe through stories shared by Mary Ann, I was very impressed with how this person touched so many as he modeled patience and resilience through his challenges.
Joe and his family are cherished memories of my growing up. I wrote a note under the direction of Miss Buell welcoming him to school. My best to all the family but especially to his sister Ann.
