Obituary of Rene H. Deloge

Rene H. Deloge, Sr., 80, of Danielson, passed away peacefully at Davis Place on Feb. 7, 2016 after battling dementia. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Allard) Deloge. He was born in Moosup, CT, September 8, 1935, son of the late Ernest and Dorothy Deloge. Rene made his home in Danielson most of his life, in 1998 he moved to Virginia and returned in 2011. He was a life member of the Danielson Elks. He was a loved and caring father and grandfather and had a great love for his family. Rene worked at Pervel Industries in Plainfield for many years. He leaves his children Rene Deloge, Jr. and his wife Donna of Putnam; Darlene Verraneault of Moosup; Cathey Mailoux of Pomfret; Ray Deloge of Moosup; and Lori Deloge and her fiancé Todd Setzler of Plainfield; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine, daughter Denise Bradley; son Mike Deloge. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
