Obituary of Claire Yaun-Jaeger

Claire Yaun-Jaeger, 84, formerly of Attawaugan, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 16, 1931 in Putnam, daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna (Dion) Levesque. Claire worked in retail in carpeting, flooring and apparel for many years and had volunteered at Day Kimball Hospital. She had made her home in Attawaugan most of her life, a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Dayville. She enjoyed trips to the ocean, music, art and cooking. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She leaves her children, Rory Lynch of Petersburg, NY; Todd Yaun of Woodstock; Jennifer Rainey of Brooklyn, Leslie Mc Clellan of Dayville, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 350 Hartford Pike, Dayville, CT, burial following in St Joseph Cemetery.Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT is in charge of the arrangements.
