David was a sweet man and I and my colleagues in the Early Connections Program always enjoyed being served our lunch by him when he worked at Mona's cafe. As a way to remember out names - he always came up with unique nicknames to call us by - mine was "cherry pie"! I guess Geri sounded like "cherry" to him.
