Obituary of Shirley R. Holmes

Danielson – Shirley R. Holmes, 80, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Davis Place. She was born August 6, 1935 in Holyoke, MA, daughter of the late Leodore and Anna (LeClair) Blain. Shirley was a Molder for Danco Corp, retiring in 1997. She was a communicant of St. James Church. She leaves a daughter Shirley M. Holmes of Danielson, sisters Jean Morris and Cecile Blain of Plainfield, grandchildren James Clements, Jr., Sandra Clements, Jennifer Baker and her husband Kerri, five great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister. Calling hours Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, CT 06239. Funeral Service Thursday, at 10 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
