Obituary of Dorothy Rose Kerouack

Dorothy Rose Kerouack, 81, of Brooklyn, formerly of Webster, MA, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Pierce Memorial Baptist Nursing and Rehab Center. Beloved wife of the late Adrien Kerouack, he died in 1983. She was born July 27, 1932 in Webster, MA, daughter of the late Armand and Bernice (Grzyb) Gelineau. Dorothy was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Wauregan. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She worked at American Standard in Wauregan as an inspector for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards with her brothers and sisters-in-law, she enjoyed family gatherings, dancing and listening to her Polish radio station on Sunday morning's. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She leaves her loving children: Sharon Brouillard of Plainfield; Alan Kerouack and his fiancée Joyce Barr of Canterbury; Linda Silvia and her husband David of Plainfield, her devoted siblings: Roger Gelineau and his wife Dot of Dudley, MA; Thomas Gelineau and his wife Donna of Dudley, MA; Nancy Sutcliffe and her husband Ken of Freetown, MA; sisters-in-law: Jeannette Gelineau; Shirley Chattelle, grandchildren: Nichole Danis and her husband Matt of Canterbury; Troy Warner of Killingly; Shane Kerouack of Brooklyn; Lori Pike and her husband Ryan of Pomfret, great grand-children: Hailey, Emma, Leah, Avery, Kloe, Kinzley and many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She was predeceased by a brother Armand Gelineau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 620 Wauregan Road, Wauregan, CT, burial to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Oncology Department at Day Kimball Hospital, PO Box 632, Putnam, CT 06260.
