Patricia J. Regis, 59, of South Main Street, Brooklyn, died Sunday, November 24, 2013, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester after a long illness. She was the wife of Rick Regis, they were married September 25, 1993. She was born August 18, 1954 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late August and Eileen (Lafrance) Mende. She had made her home in the Brooklyn Danielson area for over 21 years. Patricia with her mother operated the Maple Glen Inn in Foster, RI, for many years. She hosted many dart and billiard tournaments. She enjoyed collecting carousels and hobby horses. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She leaves in addition to her husband Rick, her four loving children, Aaron Higgins, Nathan Higgins, Kaitlyn Regis Lazor, Taylor Regis, her brother, August W. Mende, her cherished grandchildren, Alyse Lazor, Devika Higgins, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, David E. Mende.
