Obituary of Albert T. Larrow
Albert T. Larrow, 86, of Danielson, CT, died January 18, 2014. He leaves his wife of 64 years Charlotte Larrow, his children Gary Larrow and his wife Patricia of Putnam; his son Michael Larrow and his wife Sherry of Freemont, IN; his daughter Charlotte Larrow of Brooklyn, CT; his son Steven Larrow and his wife Terri of Brooklyn, CT; his son Kenneth Larrow and his wife Phyllis of Danielson, CT; his son Edward Larrow and his wife Susan of Pomfret; his grandchildren Patricia, Shannon, Kyle, Trevor, Michael, Joseph, Jeffrey, Angela, Edward, Leanne, Charlotte, Tyler, Alexandra and Gabriella. His great grandchildren Sean, Brianna, Hayden, Tate, Sophia, Brady, Griffin, Dean, Ellie, Carter, Ella, Rosie, Mason, Cooper, Ava. He is survived by his brother Eugene Larrow of Danielson and his sister Alice Sears of Brooklyn and a brother William Larrow of Washington State and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Delvina Larrow, and beloved sister Blanche Desaulniers, brothers Joseph and Philip Larrow, his grandson Sean and son-in-law David Wheeler.
Mr. Larrow served in the US Navy serving with the Seabee's during WWII. He met his wife in 1948, the former Charlotte Durand of Putnam and they were married on February 18, 1950. He was a communicant of St. James Church. Mr. Larrow worked for 28 years for EN Curtis Transportations as a Truck Driver, then seven years for Burgmeyer Trucking and the last ten years for Frito Lay. Mr. Larrow was a member of the Danielson Fire Department, The Danielson Elks 1706, Danielson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2650. He along with Foxy Fortin and Joe Raymond were involved with the Danielson Little League and he served as president for a season. Mr. Larrow and his wife spent the last 16 winters in Fort Myers Florida, where he enjoyed the Red Sox Spring Training. He loved the Red Sox and Patriots. He will be sorely missed by his family and his many friends.
The Funeral will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson. Calling Hours will be Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
