Obituary of Ronald C. Carpenter

Ronald D. Carpenter, 70, of Thompson, CT died Friday, March 14, 2014 at Oakwood Nursing Home in Webster, MA. He was born on May 23, 1943 in East Lyme, son of the late Harold and Lela (Jones) Carpenter.

Ronald worked for Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam before he went to work for Linemaster Switch where he worked as a Supervisor for 38 years. He was a very patriotic and generous man. He loved to play pitch and cribbage. Ronald enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting,

He leaves his daughters Rebecca Benoit, Sarah Brown, Rachel Carpenter, Mary Poulin, grandchildren David, Joshua, Jillian, Emma, Timothy, four great grandchildren and one on the way and nieces and nephews.
