Obituary of Theresa Desilets
Theresa Desilets, 66, of Dayville, CT, died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Regency Heights Health Care in Danielson after a long illness. She was born October 3, 1946 in Putnam, CT daughter of the late Wesley and Nellie (Livernoche) Desilets.
She made her home in Attawaugan, Rogers and Dayville and was a graduate of Killingly High School. Theresa was a Medical Assistant for Dr. Kulbeck. She was employed for 30 years at Superwinch in Putnam as an assembler. Theresa had a great love for cooking, crafts and cats. She enjoyed trying new recipes and baking pies. Her holiday baking was well-known in the family and among friends. She played bingo for many years at St. Anne's in Ballouville. She organized St. Anne's successful Flea Market for 10 years. She was the treasurer for the St. Ignatius Rosary Society for over 30 years.
She leaves her brother, Louis Beauvais and his wife JoAnne of Dayville; two nephews Ed Beauvais and his wife Jen of Hopkinton, MA; Charles Beauvais and his wife Sara of Maynard, MA and a niece Marianne Beauvais of Jamaica Plain, MA; great niece and nephews, Kate, and twins Matthew and Marc, all of Hopkinton.
The family wishes to thank Dr. William Johnson and the nurses and staff at Regency Heights in Danielson for the excellent care she received from them.
Calling Hours Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street, Danielson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 350 Hartford Pike, Dayville. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Dayville.
