Obituary of Grace Smith

Grace M. (King) Smith August 4 1921- December 31, 2012 Grace Smith, 91, died Monday at the Regency Heights of Danielson. Grace was born on August 4, 1921 to the late Jennie (Broughton) and Clark King in Thompson, CT. Grace graduated from Tourtellotte High School. She married George T. Smith on October 29, 1944. He predeceased her on January 15, 1977. Grace worked for many years in the men's department of Bugbee's Department Store in Putnam. She spent most of her life working in retail, retiring from Caldor's as Assistant Manager. Grace leaves her sons, Gregory Smith and his wife Marilyn of Port St. Lucie FL, and Gary Smith and his wife Linda of Ashford CT. She also leaves her grandchildren, Scott Smith, Rebecca Dima and her husband Joe all of Port St. Lucie FL, Jamie Kimok and her husband Jeff, Ian Smith and his partner Kailyn Allison all of Killingly, her great grandchildren, Ashley Dima of Port St. Lucie, FL, Alex Stringer of Killingly, Katie Kimok of Gouverneur NY, Cyrus and Jaxsun Smith, Dylan and Derek Peterson all of Killingly.
