I'll never forget the day Butch let me touch his bald head! I was just a kid in high school! He was a wonderful man and he'll always have a special place in my heart. All my love to his family.

I (Ann Dion) am writing on behalf of my Mom, as she is in Kentucky caring for her very ill brother. She does not have access to a computer, so she asked me to send this message along. She has many fond memories of Butch. He was a very special friend to she and my Dad. She sends her deepest sympathy and love to all the family.

Ann Marie (Peckham) Dion posted a condolence
My memories of Butch and his family are when I was a littlle girl growing up in Putnam. My Mom (Anna Peckham) and Dad (Howard "John" Peckham") were very good friends of Butch and Lucille. Butch was a wonderful father, husband and friend. I will always remember his great smile. I will also remember his motorcycle. He and my Uncle Sam (Peckham) had many a great time on their bikes. Over the past several months, I had the chance to see Butch and his wife while he was a patient at DKH. I hope my friendly smile helped him a little. I send my thoughts and prayers to all of his family.

Gerr,
As always, our thoughts, prayers and friendship are with you, and your family. Butch was a gentle man, with a kind heart, big smile, good laugh, and fine sons. He thought the world of you, as you did him. He will be deeply missed, and thought of often, and always with a smile. Take good care.

Before I retired from the Putnam Police Department I had many occasions to work with Butch on road jobs while he was with CL&P. He was a great & giving guy always ready to make ya smile. My sincerest condolence to his family and my personal prayer for his spirit at final rest.

I will always remember Mr. LeBeau as my second father. No matter where or when I would see him, he was always asking how things were. If ever at the house to visit over the years, the first thing out of his mouth was,"Do you want something to eat?" You were a kind and gentle man, always wanting to give and someone I am proud to call my friend. Rest in Peace Mr. LeBeau. Love Marc Coderre
