Victor J. Royer, 71, of Danielson, CT, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Regency Heights in Danielson. He was born February 11, 1941 in Winsted, CT, son of the late Eugene and Alice (Arnold) Royer. Victor was employed as a chemical mixer at Rogers Corporation for over forty years. He served with the US Marines for four years.

He leaves his children: Michael Royer and his wife Natasa of Pawling, NY; Deborah Malboeuf and her husband Troy of Danielson, a sister Joyce Briere and her husband Donald of Danielson; seven granddaughters; Amanda, Michelle, Natalie and Faith Royer, Heather, Melinda and Tara Malboeuf and 3 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Thomas Royer.

After his retirement, his son in-law Troy built him his own log cabin home where he happily resided with his daughter and granddaughters. He loved doing crossword puzzles and playing checkers with Tara. He was so proud when Melinda took him for a ride around town in her new car and when Heather enlisted in the US Navy and became an Intelligent Specialist.
