Annie Gallant posted a condolence
Diane was a member of the bowling team that I was asked to bowl on in 1981. This was the beginning of ten years of bowling in the Women's Nationals as well as state and local tournmanents. Diane was the positive, happy one in our group. While on these bowling trips, I learned from Diane many interesting facts about life. She was always willing to help out anyone who needed it. Till this day, however, I still can not eat the breakfasts of gravy and biscuits and grits that she loved. I will miss her and our emails.
I know she is with the Lord and is happy, but for her family and friends, this is a difficult time. Thanks for all you gave me, Diane.

I just learned the sad news that Diane has passed away from another classmate, Charlotte Chase (Lovett). I graduated from Dexter High School with Diane. We played softball and were in band together. I last saw her at our last class reunion, and I was looking forward to meeting her again at our 45th in 2008. She will be sadly missed by the class of 1963.

Wellington Historical Society posted a condolence
Diane was a valued member she didn't let the distance between Wellington and Putnam keep her from helping with our work. She helped with some of the cemetery logging and address labels always willing to do what she could on her vacations home to Maine.

In memory of Diane,
I knew Diane from her years at QVCC. She was one of my early students, when I was still relatively new at the college, and it was alway great having conversations with her both in and out of class. She was one of our "non-traditional learners" (not just out of high school) who spoiled me early on, with her eagerness to learn, her persistence and her groundedness in real-life. It was certainly a gift to know her.

President Dianne E. Williams posted a condolence
I remember Diane well as a student here at QV after Anchor closed. She told me the only time I would see her in a skirt was when she wore one for my inauguration as president! After graduation she sent a regular small monthly donation to our Foundation. We send our condolences from the college to her family and friends.
