Obituary of Stanley J. Witalec
Stanley J. Witalec, 102, of Danielson, CT, passed away October 11, 2023 at his home in Danielson, CT. He was born February 2, 1921 in Moosup, CT, son of the late Kazimierz and Juzefa (Kazimierska) Witalec. Stanley was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Bernier) Witalec they were married October 2, 1954.
He graduated from Putnam Trade School in 1939. Stanley was an Army Veteran of World War II and served in the 362nd Division in Europe. Stanley was awarded the Purple Heart. He retired after 27 years of employment at Kaman Corp. Stanley enjoyed golfing and watching the Boston Red Sox.
He leaves several nieces and nephews.
Stanley was predeceased by all his siblings Stephanie Dziedzic, Anna Kiertians, Adela Malek, Edward Witalec, Isabelle Gauthier, Mildred Chmura, Sophie Domijan and Felicia Witalec.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT, burial will follow with Military Honors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Danielson, CT.
