Obituary of Robert LaBrec

Robert LaBrec, age 68, of Pendleton, SC, formerly of Putnam, CT died Sunday in Greenville, SC. He was the husband of Grace (Raille) LaBrec for twenty-two years. Born in Putnam on January 31, 1940. He had made his home in Putnam for over forty-four years and in Port St. Lucie, FL for twenty before retiring to Pendleton, SC four years ago. After serving in the US Air Force he then became a master machinist and retired after a successful career. His hobbies included R/C planes and helicopters, computers, reading, and music. He leaves his wife Grace, his children Brian LaBrec of North Oxford, MA, Keith LaBrec of Putnam, CT, Milton Luther of Jacksonville, NC, Michelle Mauch of Douglas, MA, Michelle Hummel of Ephrata, PA, Dawn LeClair of Lincoln City, a sister, Jeannette Trudeau of Brooklyn, CT, fourteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be Sunday January 11th at 3:30 PM in the Smith & Walker Funeral Home 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Calling Hours will be Sunday from 2:00 PM until time of service.
